Temple for paella lovers.
Not surprising, considering this was the first restaurant in Barcelona to specialize in paella and rice - two staples of the city's cuisine. Considered a temple for paella lovers, the restaurant is the successful result of more than fifty years of hard work by the Iborro family.

Well I have to say the lady at a restaurant also reviewed here for Barcelona recommended this place over one the Hotel did and it was a wise decision. The Paella was divine. The place seemed a bit upscale and clientele did as well. We were welcomed without a reservation, we did go a bit early for normal eating times, I think around 6p. Place was pretty busy but we were seated promptly, if you go later would highly calling ahead. However I must say for what seemed like a better than average place our bill was not too shocking. We had 1 beer each, a starter each and the main dish Paella and we paid around 52 USD. so not too bad. Personally I would recommend this place and definitely eat there again if and when we ever return to BCN.
