Awesome
Found the restaurant by accident during Circuit week and had dinner there 4 nights. Each night was a great dining experience with presentation, quality, and taste all outstanding. Not sure if it was because of circuit week but they had a prefix menu that was an exceptional value. As a former F&B Director for Marriott I highly reccommend this restaurant.
Great Service, and Food. Surreal Atmosphere
The entire dining experience was surreal: Everything in the restaurant was perfect. From the table setting to the lighting effects. The menu, and wine list provided at the right time. The orders for our drinks, wine appetizers, and food were dispatched with military precision to appropriate venues. I was dining with my cousin and he made a comments on how the entire staff moved with the efficiency of a robotic automaton. The staff did not initiate any chit chat, nor the normal meaningless gesture of a simple social interaction with the customer. I though I was just because we were tourist, but the pattern permeated throughout the restaurant; and the noise level was so low you could probably hear a pin drop. My cousin said that we were inside a “Star Trek Holodeck.” However not in the "subjective mode", in which the user actively interacts with the program and its characters. Were were on the third-person "objective mode", in which he or she is "apart" from the actual running of the program and does not interact with it (all of the program's characters will ignore the user as if they were not there). The service was excellent, food great, but there was no soul. Like eating in a cafeteria; no charisma, nothing memorable to remember, except that were were glad to leave and were not assimilated by the “Borg”.
